Since forming in 1968, members of Avec Souci have been committed to the
civic responsibility of working cooperatively toward community improvement.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide cultural and intellectual enrichment for our members and to promote membership participation in service projects for the benefit of our community.

Our annual fundraiser is our Garden Tour.
Our annual Garden Tour fundraisers have returned over $130,000 in the past 32 years to community charities such as the Lafayette Community Health Care Clinic, Camp Bon Couer, Miles Perrret Cancer Center, Lafayette Special Olympics, UL Foundation Scholarships, Acadiana Outreach, Faith House, Sexual Abuse Center, Naomi House, Desormeaux Foundation, Inc., Dreams Come True of Louisiana and St. Bernadette Community Clinic.
